Nelson Municipal Library
The Nelson Municipal Library, located in British Columbia Canada, was founded in 1920 by city bylaw. In 1992, the Library moved to its current home. We have over 40,000 books as well as videotapes, music cassettes and CDs, cassette books, CD-Roms, microfilms, magazines and newspapers. We have public microcomputers which offer word processing, CD-Rom reference, and Internet access. We also have a special collection of books pertaining to the history of Nelson and area. Last year, we circulated over 100,000 items and reached 10,000 members.
