The Nelson District Youth Centre is involved in many activities throughout the year. Join us in the following:

Dark Room Workshop
The darkroom is up and running. We have everything you need to transform those cool shots into picture perfect images. Workshops will focus on Darkroom orientation and techniques. Call for more information.

Internet Access
NDYC has three internet computers that are available to youth any time the centre is open. You can surf the net, chat, even look for jobs for only $1 and hour. Watch the schedules for special free Internet access times and internet training workshops.

Open Art Classes
Free to anyone who wants to make something and call it art. Explore a wide range of arts & ramp; crafts on a drop in basis.

Girl's Night
Come down and enjoy movies, crafts, ramp sports, music, food and friends. Girls of all ages welcome.

Skateboarding Lessons
Learn how to skateboard and ride transitions. Instructors focused on safety and individual techniques will help you on your way to becoming a pro! Lessons coincide with junior ramps.

Sports Night
Come on down for pickup sports and have a fun energy filled time for free. Sport activities include roller hockey, floor hockey, basketball, volleyball and more.

Girls Mural Group
Join in the group and create murals for NDYC. Artistic creativity, positive peer interactions, and team work are all a focus of this mural program.

Nights Alive!
Evening/Late night crime prevention programming ranging from ramp sports, pool tournaments, life skills workshops, movie nights, and more.
