The City of Nelson.
a place where life is unhurried and people say "hello" to
strangers. It's a town where time has seemingly stood still. Turn-of-the-century
ambiance lingers in every corner from the 350 preserved heritage buildings
to the fully restored streetcar. But, don't let the quiet fool you.
Here on the shores of the giant Kootenay Lake, you'll find a world-class
recreational playground with all the comforts of today's amenities,
and lots of exciting things to do and see for all ages. So come turn
back the clock for a great time in Nelson!
